Summary: Recounts the demise of the "unsinkable" Titanic, the massive luxury liner that housed extravagances such as a French "sidewalk cafe" and a grand staircase, but failed to provide enough lifeboats for the 2,207 passengers on board.
Miranda's ReviewA Night to Remember tells the story of the real people of the ship the R.M.S Titanic .It shows how people felt about people of different class and race and how there beliefs contributed to the major loss of life that night. There is no Jack or Rose in this story ,But that's good the story of the Titanic does not need a fictional romance story ,because the story is already larger then life.Walter Lord wrote this book in the 50's before the ship was found, and so the ship is described as going down in one piece instead of two, yet many people still think of this as one of the best accounts of the Titanic sinking.
