Summary: The explosion of racial hate in a small southern town is viewed by a little girl whose father defends a black man accused of rape.
Lilibeth's Review This amazing novel tells the story of the lives of Scout and her brother, Jem, as they are growing up in Maycomb, Alabama during the 1930s. With their friend, Dill, the children have an amazing summer trying to catch a glimpse of Boo Radley. Meanwhile, their attorney father, Atticus Finch, has decided to defend Tom Robinson, a black man falsely accused of raping a local white woman, Mayella Ewell. If you are interested, just know it has justice to it. I loved it.
